INTIMATE draws upon experiences of close relationships where mutual understanding can be achieved through non-verbal communication. The kind of developed relationships where simple gestures or expressions can be read to express inner thoughts and emotions, or even coordinate actions and make decisions. Purr presents INTIMATE with similar intentions, as sounds without a specific narrative but from which complex imagery, ideas or feelings can be drawn. They are left open for the receiver to project back into and over time they can become personalised with the listener’s own perspective, interpretation and memories.
